I am single. I applied (by mail) the documents in December of 2000 (Financial and Investment analyst - NOC 1112).

In March I got the message with file number. In April, 2002 I got an appointment on interview.

In June I passed the interview - my application was approved.

The officer was very friendly. It took about 40-45 minutes (most of this time she was printing something after each my answer). She asked me about friends in Toronto (my place of destination) - Yes I have a lot friends there. She asked about organization where I work (what we do). She asked about duties on my current and previous jobs and compared my answer with big book that was behind her. Also I had several questions about my funds, education, travels abroad. She asked to submit only three documents: spravka MVD, s banka, s raboty. Bank was Russian - no questions. After all she said that she accept my application. Also she informed me that I have to transfer in Canadian bank 15 000 Canadian dollars to get visa. Also she said that she have to verify my academic??? background. Finally she said if verification OK, medical examination OK she will inform me about it (POVL). After lunch I got medical forms and also was informed that visa will be given to me within 5-6 months from the date of medical examination.
